The album contains the most popular classical guitar pieces Durrant has played over the last few years including Asturias (Albeniz), Recuerdos de la Alhambra & Capricho Arabe (Tarrega) and Stanley Myers’ Cavatina. They’ve all been recorded before many times, but not on such an instrument and not in surround sound. The recording was produced by the guitarist and legendary teacher Charles Ramirez (Durrant’s mentor from his days at the Royal College of Music).
